Hatcher Garden recognizes Child Abuse Prevention Month by placing blue pinwheels in the garden. Prevent Child Abuse America introduced Pinwheels for Prevention in 2008. The pinwheel was chosen for its whimsy with the hope that all children deserve a great childhood for they are our future.
