Recent additions to the developing Children's Garden have been completed including the sensory path, an area devoted to children with sensory learning needs as well as all children, and a sand garden located in front of the maintenance shed. The sand garden includes some new plantings, a stone wall and bench for seating and a geometric paver walkway that circumvents the sand garden. The sensory path includes a wind chime and a sign called, “How to Really Love a Child.“ The 3-dimensional plaque designed by Board Trustee Julia Burnett, which was unveiled earlier this year at Twilight in the Garden, will be placed at the entrance of the sensory path. More additions to come on 2025!
