Hatcher Receives Grant from Women Giving

We are honored to be among the seven local nonprofits awarded grants during the 2019 Women Giving for Spartanburg Annual Meeting & Grants Award Ceremony.

Hatcher Garden & Woodland Preserve received $32,000 to build an interactive walking bridge leading to the Children’s Garden.

Grants were awarded based on the seven key areas highlighted by the Spartanburg Community Indicators Project.

“By pooling our money together, we’re able to make a bigger impact than we would if we were just giving to these organizations individually,” said Amanda Richardson, chairwoman of the Women Giving for Spartanburg 2018-19 communications committee.
