Invest in Nature’s Future

Hatcher Garden depends on donations to maintain our world-class plant collections and offer environmental education for students of all ages. Your generous financial support helps us to continually beautify our community gardens with an array of flowers, foliage, shrubs, and trees for your inspiration and enjoyment. Hatcher Garden is also a wonderful place to honor friends and family.

Giving Levels & Benefits

Donors at all giving levels receive a 10% discount at all Hatcher Garden Plant Sales and on all Gift Shop items, as well as a 10% discount on select purchases at Piedmont Farm & Garden. In addition, donors can enjoy free admission and/or additional benefits at over 345 gardens throughout North America and the Caribbean with the American Horticultural Society's Reciprocal Admissions Program. The American Horticultural Society's (AHS) Reciprocal Admissions Program (RAP) promotes horticulture across North America, encouraging people to visit gardens and other horticultural institutions. Learn more about Reciprocal Garden Benefits. There you can select a state where member garden benefits are available. Or you can download the booklet (just be aware that it is laid out as a book in page spreads and not necessarily in alphabetical order).

All donations of $30 or higher, unless otherwise designated, will be credited to the Annual Fund and used for general operations of the Garden. Donors may designate their gifts to specific Hatcher Garden Funds. All donations of $250 and above may be designated by the donor as a Sponsorship and will be used to cover the costs of our special fundraising events. Hatcher Garden will use these funds with the objective of raising $3 for each $1 spent.

All giving levels include the core membership benefits listed above. Additional benefits are listed with each giving level.
