2020 Hatcher Garden Christmas Card is Released

Celebrate the Holiday Season with Hatcher Garden inspired Christmas Cards.

This year’s Christmas card, called “Winter Wader,” features a Great Blue Heron wading in the upper pond near the newly constructed bridge in the Children’s Garden. Being the largest birds in North America, Great Blue Herons do winter here in the upstate. The artist, David Zielinski, came upon this heron in one of the ponds earlier this year on a cold raining February afternoon and shot pictures for this card.

The cards, with envelopes, are available with a holiday greeting, “Wishing You a very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year” or blank for you to inscribe your own personal message as use as a note card. The cards come in sets of eight and can be purchased for $12.00 a set and picked up at the Office*. Add an additional $5.00 for shipping and handling.
