Recently Duke Energy announced nearly $300,000 in grant funding from the Duke Energy Foundation to 12 organizations to strengthen the health of our environment and increase access to nature in South Carolina. Duke Energy is honored to help grow these outstanding bodies of work with their nonprofit partners. The grant awarded to Hatcher Garden is to be used for the replacement of signage within our inner city woodland preserve and to promote knowledge about the benefits of nature.
