Are pets allowed in Hatcher Garden?
No. We ask that you please leave your pets at home for the safety and enjoyment of all of our visitors and natural wildlife.

Is there a price for admission to enter Hatcher Garden?
Admission is FREE (but donations are greatly appreciated). There are donation boxes located at the paved walkway entrance near the office (beside the Water Wise Demonstration Garden) and the Jess Taylor Pavilion.

When is Hatcher Garden open?
Hatcher Garden is open 365 days a year during daylight hours. Please visit us at those times.

wedding Can I get married at Hatcher Garden?
Yes! There are several locations throughout the Garden where a wedding can be held. We can accommodate up to 110 guests. You will need to reserve space in the garden for your wedding to ensure a location is available. See the Weddings and Special Events page (under the Rentals button) for more information.

Can I have a meeting, a party, or a family reunion at Hatcher Garden?
Yes! Hatcher Garden is a perfect place to have a meeting or a party, but there are some things to keep in mind. You will need to book the garden in advance to ensure a spot is available. For more information, see the
Meetings and Parties page (under the Rentals button) for more information.

Do you allow Photography in Hatcher Garden?Photography
Yes! Amateur photography is always welcome at no charge. For professional photography the fees and booking information are available on the Photography page (under the Visit button).

What kind of activities can I participate in at Hatcher Garden?

Come have a picnic, walk on the trails (we have an exercise program - see Exercise under the Visit button), bird watch, read or draw. Come relax and once you have fallen in love, become a Hatcher Garden volunteer or as we call our valued volunteers, Hearts of Hatcher .

NOTICE: While on the grounds at Hatcher Garden, you are under your own cognizance. Please be aware that you are in a natural setting and there are factors beyond our control. We cannot be responsible for falling limbs, acts of God, behavior of wild animals, etc. For your safety and the safety of our aquatic life, stay out of the water, streams and off the rocks. Please do not disturb the wildlife. Thank you for your responsible behavior.
